This has really affected the drugstore. Her mom and grandma might even have to sell the store, or their house! One day at the store the local homecoming queen walks in. She is having a very bad hair day. Lucy offeres to help, she knows what she's talking about. She makes the homecoming queen look better than ever. Soon more people want Lucy to do their makeup. While this is going on, Lucy is going through crushes and a best friend. Is her makeover business enough to save the drugstore? Will her family be able to trust a seventh-grader?
I thought My life in Pink and Green was a really good book. I liked how the main character was twelve--I am too, so I feel like I could relate to her. I liked how in the begining of each chapter there was a beauty or business tip. I learned some stuff by reading this. This book was very interesting and had a good plot. It was a little slow at times but I still liked it. Most of the time it grabbed your attention and you wanted to know what happened next. I liked it so much I read it in two days! I could imangine this happening in real life, it is really realistic. This is a great book that you should read. Tell me what you think!
