The Mother-Daughter Book Club by Heather Vogel Frederick

Rating: 5
Genre: Realistic Fiction
Intended Audience: Girls, 10 and up
Pages: 245
Summary: Megan, Cassidy, Emma and Jess, are four totally different girls. Their moms decide to put together a book club, a mother-daughter book club. The moms pick out the classic Little Women, which soon helps these new friends get through the drama at their middle school. They have some crazy adventures, and some problems, but these friends will stay together.
My Thoughts: This is one of my favorite books. Each chapter alternated between the girls, which I liked. Every girls was different, so they each had different feelings about things. I liked reading about how each character felt about their mom, which was funny. This book had a lot about friendship and family which are important things, and the girls learn how to deal with them. The author put a lot of details in the book describing the characters, and their feelings, which I enjoyed reading. This book was great! If you enjoyed this book the next one, in the series, is Much Ado About Anne.
